Moishe's Moving Jersey City

Exceptional! Perfect! I will definitely call them again. Very professional. The workers all had their neat uniforms on and worked extremely well. Never seen anything like that in the past. They did everything to make this move seamless. I admire them and respect them very much for a job very well done. Kudos to Marcos and his team!! Yeh!!

We recently used Moishes for our move from Jersey City to South Orange, NJ. Our experience was fantastic since the first point of contact. Jim Wiggins in the sales department was prompt in his follow up, and the price he quoted was less than other local movers. Hamid and his team were absolutely incredible on the day of our move! They were courteous, quick, and made our moving day seamless. We cannot say enough pleasantries about Moishes. Highly recommend!

I was so happy with my move. Starting from the customer service team Jeremy and Michael to the moving Chabour and team were great. Glad I chose Moishe’s. The team was just wonderful to work with and very efficient. They reached around 8:00 am and were done packing and moving by about 10:00 am. Then everything was basically unpacked at the destination by 11:30 am. Saved me money. Their packing skills was commendable. They had a whole system starting from diving the work, covering and taping. Moving the items to the hallways after packing everything and then moving it to the truck. Not to mention the best part was they were really fast!!! They really knew what they were doing. I have used another company before so comparing Moishe’s to that I was definitely happy with the skills and the way the team presented themselves in the uniform and their way of talking and respect. Thank you again for all your help. Appreciate your professionalism and the manner of the company with handling the customer from start to finish. I have already recommended multiple people and will definitely be using you guys for all future moves.

Excellent moving company from Michael who handled the estimate and Omar and his crew, all were polite, respectful, patient and made everything really nice for me. Really appreciated the pace of their work, attention to detail, care for my belongings and the ease in which they delivered, unwrapped and placed my furniture. Job well done!

From start to finish, my experience with Moishe’s moving service was exceptional. I asked to change my move date with less than a months notice and it was done. The movers arrived on time, and navigated a two-story walk up on the move out and a four-story house on the move in. They handled everything with care, and despite some rain everything went smoothly. Their pricing was incredible fair, no hidden costs. One of the best moving experiences I’ve had.

I've moved five times in three years - including across the country. Never have I had a worse experience. They broke and damaged several items - the primary ones I needed their help to move, and lost others in the simple three mile move I hired them for. They also charged a premium or 50% more than their competitor Piece of Cake. For what I needed them to move, I would have been better off throwing the items away and moving the rest myself. I can not express my disappointment in using their services. I have reached out to their claims/submitted. It's under review. Initial response is they'd pay me about 5% of the damages they caused so, no thanks. If they adjust or "do what's right", I'll be sure to update my review. Until then, I'll continue to warn people to stay away from this company. Just an update (10/3/22), they have yet to come back with an update on the claim. It's stuck at only a little over a hundred dollars, which wouldn't even cover the night stand they damaged, let alone the tv, tv stand, other night stand and lamp they lost. So, yes, movers beware. Avoid Moishe's! Use Piece of Cake or some other movers, and - apparently - you should also pay for additional insurance - though that smacks of an extortion scheme. Another update (12/20/22). Still nothing. This company is the worst. Check out their reviews on other moving sites - but please don't use! They are absolutely horrible! Update - (12/1/23) Just wanted to give a (perhaps final) update. The company did reach out this summer, and slightly increased their dollar amount to cover the cost of the tv (about 1/2 the cost of the tv) - in exchange for pulling down this review. It would have been nice if they were more interested in making things right with their customer, but - as I didn't need the cash at this point and just dealt with the situation by finding a smaller, older used tv to make do with - I declined. I did move again, using "Piece of Cake" moving this time. It was a similar move (distance and item count) and they were far more reasonable in cost. And they managed to not break anything. I do have friends who went against my suggestion, and used Moishe and they too lost/damaged items. I'll link to their review when they post, but I can only continue to strongly recommend not using this company.

We used Moishe's Moving for our recent move from an apartment into our house and could not have been happier. The movers were extremely efficient, but also careful and thorough. They made sure each item ended up in the room it was supposed to be in. Their speed was also impressive, what could have been an all day task was essentially done in 6 hours. Would highly recommend them.
